Pipers Lane, Gayton

A modestly sized extension to a Wirral property radically improved a small, dark kitchen into a light and spacious living area.  The removal of one rear wall and the insertion of a 6m long structural beam created a small extension of only 10 square metres.

However the overall result has vastly improved the functionality of the existing rooms and created usable, generously proportioned spaces.  By installing skylights in the roof of the extension, light was utilised to the maximum.  Large areas of external wall glazing has resulted in free flowing interior and exterior spaces.
