AiMeS Grid Services Offices

AiMeS are a Community Interest Company and required  new offices to accommodate new business start ups and a data centre. Two sites were identified over a three year period as suitable for development. The first site based on Duke Street, Liverpool was the fit out of the ground floor of an office development by Beatham Developments. Business expansion dictated that a second office was required at Liverppol Innovation Park, Edge Lane, Liverpool. The refurbishment of this space was to an old and delapidated telecoms laboratory to form a highly contemporary and individual space that reflected the high tech nature of the client's business.

Each project took approximately 16 weeks to complete and consisted of the strip out refurbishment of approximately 5,000 sq ft of space. There was a high level of mechanical and electrical coordination due to the data centre requirements.

Managing Director of Aimes Professor Dennis Kehoe commented;

" Steve was our architect and project manager and took control right from the beginning of the project. His ideas were innovative but also met our business requirements and the final design reflected the corporate image we wanted to convey. The project was completed on schedule and on budget thanks largely to Steve's attention to detail and expert project management skills."
